repeat的基本意思是“重說，重做”，指一件事情說過或做過之后再重復(fù)一次或多次，有時(shí)也可表示“轉(zhuǎn)述”。
引申可作“復(fù)述，背誦”“再次供應(yīng)”“吃后仍留有余味”等解。
repeat可用作及物動詞，也可用作不及物動詞。用作及物動詞時(shí)，后接名詞、代詞或that/wh-從句作賓語。可用于被動結(jié)構(gòu)。
